A correctly designed project needs to take into account sometimes conflicting requirements and an understanding of what lies behind the requirement is key to a successful outcome.

For example, Room layouts need to take into account the requirement to reduce infection outbreak by including items like sloping tops that make it easier to clean, future proofing requirements to help reduce costs down the line, HBN and HTM Guidelines to create efficient safe storage for medical stock for the ultimate well-being of the patient and staff and product specification to suit short term or long term savings goals.
